Custom Development
SpherAware provides in-depth geospatial consulting and custom development. That means we do GIS inside and out! Maps are just the visual part of a geographic information system. Aggregating diverse data sources, extracting hidden meaning and enabling its effective use is the real challenge.
We have significant experience in environmental sensing, data collection, spatial analysis and the visualization of geographic information. This work has been accomplished with both Esri and open-source technologies. Our core skills are spatial database development (Postgres/PostGIS and SQL Server), mobile mapping on Android devices (Java), web mapping (Leaflet and OpenLayers), web services (JavaScript and PHP) and desktop development (Java, .NET and Classic VB).
